Whatever cross you’re carrying, the weight of it can, at times, seem impossibly heavy. So, what can you do? We have the invitation, the opportunity, to turn for help to Our Lord, Our Blessed Mother and our heavenly intercessors, the Saints. Of all the Saints we can rely on, Our Lord has designated one in particular for times when all hope is despaired of: Saint Jude.
Saint Jude Thaddeus was one of the 12 Apostles. He also was Jesus’ cousin. He walked alongside Our Lord during the three years of His public ministry, spread the Gospel far and wide after Christ’s Resurrection, and in the long centuries since, has come to the aid of countless people facing hopeless or impossible difficulties.
Beginning on October 20 and concluding on October 28, the Feast of Saint Jude, the Dominican Friars at the Rosary Shrine of Saint Jude will offer a special Novena of Masses in honor of Saint Jude Thaddeus.
